Nature of Project:
Study and publication of assemblage of ca. 20 tons of Roman imperial pottery from the Palatine East Excavations in downtown Rome. Involves work in storerooms at American Academy in Rome during the summer and laboratory facilities at UB during the academic year.
Status:
- Ongoing since 2001.
Student participation:
- Opportunities for undergraduate and graduate student participation during academic year in connection with honors projects, MA papers, etc. Opportunities for graduate student participation in Rome during some summers.
