Buffalo Spoken Latin Workshop

The University at Buffalo, SUNY (UB) Department of Classics hosted a weekend spoken Latin workshop for area Latin instructors and others interested in conversational Latin on the UB campus from June 27-29, 2008. The workshop was a great success, bringing together Latin speakers of various levels from the Northeast and beyond for two days exploring the practice of oral Latin.
UB Assistant Professor of Classics Neil Coffee and the other organizers of the workshop hope to build upon their experience and create another collegial and productive workshop in summer 2009.
